Just drove along Fitzsimons Lane around 3pm from Eltham to Templestowe and the traffic was going really slowly. The traffic is banked up before the hill in Eltham and back to the roundabout in Templestowe. Traffic in both directions is slow.
An ambulance just arrived and two fire trucks also arrived as I went past. The car was a white ford sedan and had crushed the right hand front panel back to the wheel. A street light was laying across the road and median strip taking up a lane in both directions.
Best to avoid Fitzsimons Lane for a while.
